The key is to make your arms work efficiently, because your legs have to follow!
A proper running technique is also crucial to prevent Injury, furthermore, the majority of people tend to swing their arms across their bodies and most don't even know they're doing it nor the correct way to move them.
Always focus on keeping your shoulders square, minimal rotation, hands nice and relaxed and arms not coming across your body. This is the simple way to learn how to begin improving your running technique and be more efficient with your jogging/running.
