Courtney had great swim leg in the Ironman 70.3 Cairns this morning, coming third out of the water in a time of 26 minutes 23 seconds, behind Annabel Luxford (1st) and Caroline Steffen (2nd).
"Had a great start to the Ironman 70.3 Cairns pro race this morning, third out of the swim, and a strong bike leg up until the ten kilometres to go, when I got a flat. "
"Wet conditions, It's just the nature of the sport, today was a bad luck day. "
"Otherwise very happy to be here & to be a part of the Cairns 70.3 pro field today, enjoyed every bit of the swim and bike. "
